What Am I Up To Lately?

  • Submitted "Just Another Minnow" to Internet Cafe Devotions on August 23, 2010.
  • Won 1st Place in the Elk's Theater 100-word short story, essay, poem contest.  Story will appear in their program of the performance of, "A Black Widow In Prescott," on August 22, 2010.
  • Resubmitted "Thrushbeard" to Susie Magazine on August 19, 2010.
  • The editor of Labyrinth Magazine was very nice.  I am grateful for his suggestions.  Unfortunately, the story didn't fit what he was looking for and was rejected on August 26, 2010.  His feedback was invaluable.  Thank you!
  • Karmann Powell has added me to her website.  Go and check out her music!  I will be adding a button for easier locating soon!
  • The Faerie Queen Chronicles are nearly done!  Part 1:  The Faerie Queen is in its final polishing stages.  Part 2:  The Forgetting Stone is in the revision stage.  I am excited about this two-part short story series!
  • I am definitley pro-traditional publish, but Kindle has a way to self-publish a book.  The Journal Of A Mad Woman was published last year on my blog.  It is a novella.  I am considering sending it to sell on Amazon.  Stay tuned!
  • Submitted, "It's That Time Of Year," to Failbetter.com (Romantic).
  • My 6-book series, "The Origin Series," is underway.  Book One:  The Rose Door is 42,000 words.  I am no longer in revisions for the first half of the book.
  • Submitted a Devotional called, "The Rearview Mirror," to a local writer who is putting together a Devotional booklet for our local VA.  It is due to come out in July of this year.
  • Sue Cramer's Praise and Coffee newsletter is out.  You can view April, 2010's here.  I wrote an article and submitted photos to it.  Enjoy!
  • Submitted "JOY," a devotional, to Internet Cafe.  I am waiting for a response.  Check out this webpage!  Great devotions!
  • Interview on Beautiful Chaos by Michelle Gregory.  I met her for the first time when I had a tea for my writer's group.
  • Joined NANOWRIMO for their November, 2009 Novel Write-A-Thon, but withdrew at 11,584 words.  I got a two-book series out of it that I will finish when I finish my so far six book series, The Origin Series.
